The Junkie Short Film Kickstarter

The short film, The Junkie, is now live on Kickstarter!

This inspiring film is based on a true story of a young couple, against all odds, that must fight to save a marriage overpowered by addiction. The short is pivotal to moving the project forward as a feature.

Pastilla worked on all their pitch materials from the look-book to the poster and also produced their pitch video. We are very committed to seeing this project through until it becomes a full feature.

Take a look at the Kickstarter campaign and get a peek at this amazing and inspiring story. Please consider backing them on Kickstarter and sharing it. Every dollar helps us reach our goal.

A Kid’s Guide to How Internet Ads Work

This is a Kid’s Guide to How Internet Ads Work, and even how to hitchhike across the galaxy, not really, but the video is in done a similar manner and tone as Douglas Adam’s Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and it works perfectly. The video was designed by illustrator Dominic Owen and animator Will Samuel and commissioned by the Internet Advertising Bureau in the U.K.

The video does a great job demonstrating how ads are targeted, and why certain ads pop up. Although, I don’t know many kinds that are interested in Internet Marketing. (Via Co Design)

Screen Shot 2014-03-05 at 12.15.30 AMTake a look at this demo of a new product, the HUVr Board which is supposedly a hover board that will be available sometime in December 2014. The board will sync with your smart phone via bluetooth, allowing control over the board and keeping track of your travels.

Although the video isn’t very promising, the advertisement is still interesting to watch and we can all hope it’ll be real some day.

For more info on the board, take a look at the HUVr Facebook page. (Via AdFreak)
